Raw Chocolate Peanut Butter Slice
After having cravings for peanut butter the other week I decided to make a quick raw chocolate peanut butter slice. While I do not often eat peanut butter due to peanuts being known for containing cadmium, a heavy metal, I did enjoy making this up for a treat.

Ingredients
Base
- 1 cup almond meal
- 1 cup cashews
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- 3 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp rice malt syrup/ coconut syrup
Peanut Butter Layer
- 1/2 cup coconut cream
- 3/4 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Chocolate Top
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 1/4 cup cacao powder
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 tbsp rice malt syrup
- Good crack Himalayan salt

Instructions
- Add all base ingredients into a food processor and process until base mixture is sticking together. Press into a lined slice tray. Place in fridge/freezer.
- Using a food processor or blender, add all ingredients for the peanut butter layer and blend until smooth and creamy. Pour on top of base and place back in the fridge for 1-2 hours to allow to set.
- To make the chocolate mix all ingredients together in a bowl until combined and pour over peanut butter layer. Place back in the fridge for a good 4-6 hours until completely set before removing and slicing into small pieces.
- Store in freezer.
