Golden Latte
Essentially a golden latte is the addition of turmeric added to coconut milk or another nut milk that is enjoyed hot with a little raw honey to taste. Depending on how it is made, sometimes cinnamon and ginger are also added for improved anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits. Turmeric’s active ingredient ‘curcumin’ is receiving a lot more attention than ever before due to its anti-inflammatory capabilities that are proving to be just as effective if not more so than pharmaceutical medications. Curcumin also being recognised as a powerful antioxidant neutralises free radicals and keeps our cells healthy. These benefits alone also make curcumin an important supplement for people who suffer from cancers, Alzheimer’s disease and various other chronic inflammatory conditions.
