Breakfast doesn’t have to be boring, you just have to be a bit more creative. I always loved french toast as a kid and enjoy it just as much now.

This makes a great quick breakfast during the week when you are time poor. The addition of protein powder will give it the added protein boost. Pumpkin is a good source of antioxidants particularly vitamin A which is essential for vision and skin health.

For those that prefer a savoury pancake rather than a sweet one, this is ideal and full of greens! Still quick to prepare and holds together well to cook.
Caramel Banana Smoothie Bowl
Posted on November 4th, 2016
Smoothie bowls have been popular on social media and in health food cafes for some time now and a refreshing bowl of banana ‘nice cream’ is actually really nice. I see smoothie bowls all over Instagram and often 3-4 bananas are used at one time and consumed in that one sitting! 1 banana is plenty to create a smoothie bowl and is still really filling.
Chocolate Smoothie Bowl

Smoothie bowls really do make a great breakfast if done right. Often you see multiple bananas or different fruits being added which can actually do more harm than good with the amount of sugar they contain. Using 1 banana is plenty in a smoothie bowl and it will give you enough creaminess to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Double Chocolate Pancakes
Posted on November 4th, 2016
Who doesn’t like pancakes? We often associate pancakes as a weekend treat only, but why not make a healthy pancake that can be enjoyed every day. These pancakes are high protein and use buckwheat flour and a small banana for healthy complex carbohydrates to keep your blood sugar levels in check. Since I really like chocolate I have made a healthy chocolate sauce that can be added to serve.
Coconut Granola Bowl
Posted on November 4th, 2016
This breakfast is great for when you feel like something a little different and sweet and doesn’t take much time to through together. Coconut cream is full of healthy fats that are naturally good for speeding up the metabolism while satisfying your sweet tooth.
Ginger, Cinnamon and Honey Toasted Granola
Posted on November 4th, 2016
Granola really is delicious and is a popular breakfast choice, however the amount of sugar can be quite extreme in a lot of the store bought brands. If you really enjoy your granola you are best to make it yourself so you know exactly what sugar is in it so it can be enjoyed on a daily basis. This recipes uses quinoa flakes to boost the protein content and raw nuts and seeds as opposed to roasted so that you reap the full nutritional value.
